2011 Top 100 Tax Firms

The China Certified Tax Agents Association’s 2011 Top 100 Tax Firms List shows that the nation’s Top 100 firms generated 3.15 billion yuan in revenues in 2011, increased by 22.03 percent from a year earlier. Top 100 firms combined revenues were 32 percent of the total market share. Six of them passed the 100 million yuan revenue hurdle. In terms of geographical distribution, Beijing and Jiangsu each has 19 Top 100 firms, while 17 are located in Zhejiang, 12 in Shanghai and 8 in Guangdong.

Beijing VAT Reform Scheme Approved

The reform scheme was approved by the State Council and is expected to be implemented from 1st July 2012 as initially planned.

CSRC Clarifies IPO Pricing Issues

The issues involved include comparison of industrial P/E ratios, thorough analysis and disclosure made by issuers and intermediaries about the reasonableness and risk factors of IPO pricing, significant events necessitate the resubmission of IPO authorization and profit forecast.
